Help me please. I'm new. Only have around 5hrs of flight time. Everything has been great and I am loving everything about it. But today as I was flying straight running from stupid birds my P3 started drifting to the right. I immediately started flying home but a minute later it was flying perfect?! What caused that. Thanks

Sounds odd, and you were in GPS (not ATTI) and with plenty of satellites?

    I would definitely do a full IMU-calibration - and then a compas-calibration.

I would advice you to make sure the Phantom 3 is nice and cool before doing a full IMU calibration. In fact, I cool mine down (in the fridge (some suggest a car with the AC cranked up) and then start the full IMU calibration immediately after you turn on your Phantom. At least one positive side-effect of this procedure for me was that the P3Pro didn't have to sit for a long time before every flight doing the "IMU Warm Up". Now it is ready to fly in a few seconds.

Probably a compass issue unless you were close to something with a strong magnetic field ... high voltage lines etc?

I was at a altitude off 200ft, I don't think I was around anything. After thinking could it have been after I updated my firmware I forgot to do a IMU calibration
