Phantom 3 controller BEEPING

I just bought a new phantom 3 standard controller (as I snapped the antenna on my old one ) and as soon as I turned it on it hasn't stopped constantly beeping. I can't calibrate it ( dji app won't let me ) It won't link with my phantom. I have looked everywhere for help any suggestions ?

No sorry. Whatever I do with the controller, It will not stop.

Have you linked the new transmitter with your drone via the little button on the bottom side of your phantom?

No it won't let me. It just constantly beeps no matter what I do. I spoke to the online service team and they had no clue either.

Wonder if it could be a bad battery. You have the old transmitter for parts.
