phantom 3 compass calibration

good morning, new phantom, new pilot, mu question is if I calibrate the compass in n open area or field and then I travel outside that area let say 30 miles, do I need to recalibrate the compass ?? thanks

Just do it on a open field and check the MOD
Should be 1450 - 1550
