Phantom 3 advanced size vs Vision 2 size

I'm upgrading to a 3 advanced from a Vision 2 and am wondering if my current hard shell carrying case will still work for the new 3 advanced.

Is the physical height of these to versions the same? I can't find this info on DJI's site.

If I recall correctly, the P3 is a bit taller and the landing gear a bit wider (I think about 1/4 to 1/2"). But the bigger problem is the remote control. it's shape is completely different.

howardpin, you can compare the Phantom 2 and Phantom 3 here. The only issue will most likely be attempting to fit the Phantom 3 remote controller. You might be able to make it work though if you don't mind hacking through your case a bit with a knife.

I have my P3 on a P2 backpack. Just had to open some space on the backpack for the controller with a knife
