P3A is the best bang for the buck anywhere.

GoPro is much better quality imo. I do agree that the P3 holds the most value.

I bought a p3p, broke the camera, installed a p3a camera. Here are some shots (with some editing of course)

Does the 4k do better than the standard cam in low light, dusk or dawn ?
I took a pic of a sunset with the p3s and it was pretty grainy.

Same sensor, with such a small sensor the high iso performance is not that great. The camera is the same in the two versions, just different interface hardware. Shoot in DNG and edit and add noise reduction in software.

Imo only iso 100 is great. If you want professional quality in low light, you should by drone that can lift full frame camera. But for under 2k it performs pretty well. First thing you should forget all automatic from camera and learn to shoot with manual(youtube is full of photography videos) and try to find good image production software for your budget. I use photoshop cc.

There's little if any difference between the Advanced and Pro in stills.

You probably get most out of it using RAW and with reasonable prior knowledge to process the images yourself later.
