The standard is now very cheap.

    Quick thoughts on the P2:
Need additional analogue 5.8Ghz FPV gear (display w/receiver, miniIOSD, transmitter) which cost around $300-$500. You will get 1km realistic FPV range (depending on antenna).
You need to know how to install the FPV equipment.
GoPro is 4K and can be used for other purposes.
You CANNOT change camera settings on the fly. Press record and fly.
1 way downlink video - this means no automation or ground station.
    Less restrictions - altitude/NFZ.
    No DJI App.
Heavy and shorter flight times - 15m est.
    Curved horizons - so 1990's.

    Quick thoughts on the P3S:
    Cheap.
All in one - camera is fixed and only works with the P3S.
    2 way communications - automation/groundstation.
You can change camera settings on the fly, start and stop.
    Longer flight times 20+min
    500m realistic range.
    Easier to setup.
    No more curved horizons.
    2.7k @ 30fps.
P3 is a different beast compared to the P2.

If you fly close range and just want 'decent' video then get the P3 Standard. At $350 USD, its a steal. You will be risking your expensive GoPro 4 if you go the P2 path.

I have the P3Adv and I rarely break the 1km range. 90% of my flights are near my points of interest.

And on a final note, if you decide the P2 Gopro path, then its better to hack a P2V+ with a H33D and gopro. This will give you 2 way coms.

Picture quality of the Standard can not hold a candle to that of the Hero 4. Having said that, there is much greater camera control on the standard!

If I had to do this again, I would, pick a quad that allows camera control, with the gopro
