I have a question, my friend has P2 with 5.8ghz fpv 600mw tx, i have fv40 that has 5.8ghz controller,

Would they interfere with each other when flying togheter?

Any risk of crashing?

Shouldn't. They use the same frequency, but are actually transmitting directed packets much like an ethernet network. Those packets that are directed to the P2 should be ignored by the FV40, and vice versa.

This is why the controller (and the video feed) must be "bound" to the Phantom. This establishes which packets each system will pay attention to.

Same reason why multiple P2's can all fly together.

Asked and answered.
Like I said, unless your friend's FPV is somehow bound to your rig, they will ignore each other's data and will not interfere with one another.
