Have a Phantom 2 Vision and one of the motors went out during flight. I was about 15 feet above grass when it came down and after putting it back together I was able to power up and 3 of the 4 motors were operational. I ordered new motor, installed it as required by instruction and once all together it powered up with all lights and beeps, but when I brought both controller sticks to the motor start position none worked. I also noticed when checking all the wire connections there was one that appeared damaged. This would be the brown (or tan) wire from the main board and looks to run to the lower part of the battery connection. I might be in a position where I need to send my Quad out for repair unless someone can give me an idea what to do next.

Thanks
Mark

Can you take a picture that clarifies which wire is damaged and where it is damaged?

I have a feeling the ESC may need to be replaced as well, but this wire sounds like a different issue.
