Phantom 2 vision plus version 3 question

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if ALL P2V+V3'S have black writing on the sides of the motors please?

Mine do not. I have heard/seen that others do. 2312 is motor number if I remember correctly.

You can physically tell which motor it has by looking in at the windings and at the bottom of the motor at its mount. Is their a concern?

As usual, RoyVa has a good point that makes it easy to determine which motor you have whether it is marked or not - look at the motor windings; the old ones have a sloppy and loose winding, the 2312's windings are neat and tight. My guess (others will correct me if need be) is that the older windings were done by hand and the 2312's by machine.

Wouldn't it be simpler to look at the black markings on the CCW motors? Old are dotted at top and new has the painted black threads.
