Camera is toast on the Ph.2 Vision do not want to spend 500.00 for a replacement camera. Looking for a good source for a full 2.4 Ghz. kit .Can do a little soldering .But will need some direction Thanks in advance .Tony

What happened to the camera? Why do you think it's toast?

FPV is pretty straightforward. You've got:
- camera
- OSD (optional, but recommended)
- video transmitter
- video receiver
- display (TV monitor)
Items like the Black Pearl combine the last two into one unit.
The first 3 units all deal with two connection types: power and video.
If you get equipment that's all 12V compatible, that makes power easy.
Video goes out from camera into OSD, then out from there into the tx.
OSD hooks up to the CAN bus. You'll need a special plug/cable to go
into the Phantom main board for it.

Thanks for the suggestions It went up into an 80' tree and held on to it. I used a big Shot Sling shot to get a rope around the limb. That is when I should hve waited for a catcher but did not. I shook it down and that is when the Camera got wiped. The Bird recovered from a week of Rain and Snow.I ordered a 2.4 starter kit from Ready Made RC. But no OSD. Can I use the DJI Mini OSD with a kit like this Thanks Tony

Yes, you can. You will just need to intercept the video (orange) and ground (brown) wires from the camera and feed them through the iOSD.
