I am new to quadscopters, and have bought a Phantom 2 with the H3-3D Gimbal, which I installed per instructions. When the phantom initializes (and the transmitter is OFF), the camera points downwards at about a 30 degree angle.
When the transmitter is turned ON, the lever on the back works - i.e. it points the camera from completely DOWN, to a few degrees UP. HOWEVER, when the camera is pointed upwards, there is an awful noise, like the gimbal is fighting against itself ... something is obviously wrong. I can shoot a short video of this and attach it if that woould be helpful. Has this happened to anyone, and if so, can you suggest how to fix it?
I have not tried installing the STORM FPV and iOSD devices yet, as I want to go slow, and get each "piece" of this working one at a time.
HELP!!
