I settled on the immersion 600 mW transmitter, Diversity monitor (5802 sold under several brand names) and the mini IOSD. If you get the same set up mentioned above, I'd also recommend getting this cable http://www.firstpersonview.com/cables/phantom-2-iosd-mini-transmitter . You can plug everything together with no soldering.

I was told I should buy some spironet antennas, and am waiting for those to come in. Currently I'm getting video to around 400 to 450 meters at around 120 meters altitude with the crappy rubber ducky antennas that come standard.

The hard part seems to be finding suppliers that have what you want in stock. I use Amazon, B&H photo, and a new place (to me) rcdepothobbies.com.Oh yea, I do not recommend hobbyking. I ordered a set of Fatshark goggles from them and the shipment has gotten all screwed up. Apparently they do not have a very good reputation.

Here is a very cheap FPV setup, you can get 1km+ range with this setup, its a nice start to FPV.
And if you use a directional antenna on the receiver you could go above 2km.

Boscam TS351: http://j.mp/1iwjZzR
Boscam TS353 400mw: http://j.mp/1gJ6t7s
Boscam receiver RC305 5.8Ghz: http://j.mp/1cRoJjy

RC305 + TS353 combo: http://j.mp/1iuhzQ6

Antennas (circular polarized)
cloverleaf antenna to rx: http://j.mp/1arIRFU
Cloverleaf antenna to tx: http://j.mp/1dG8kbW

7" LCD: http://j.mp/1d7kwsr
Boscam 7" RX-LCD5802 5.8GHz Diversity Receiver: http://j.mp/1lZuham

Just to show how well this setup works here is a video i found on youtube (4.6 km on minute 8:14), in the description is the setup used, and you can read RC305 and TS351, just like this setup:

So you use either the 351 or the 353?

How do you connect these to a GoPro and a power source?

Thanks for the help!

I went with the plug and play setup. I have all DJi
Alv58 transmitter
Dji FPV hub
Dji mini iosd
H3-2D gimbal
It all plugs together no soldering and works great
I am using the black pearl 7 inch monitor :ugeek:

Yes, you can use both, TS351 is a 200mw transmitter, TS353 is a 400mw transmitter. If you want to go above 1km TS353 is better.

Just need a AVout cable for the GoPro and a 1000mah 3S lipo for the LCD and receiver, or get the boscam LCD 5802 that has everything built in.

Regards.

This is bassically what i have, but my RC305 and TS353 are not working. i have the plug n play cable, the pins are all matching the factory connectors and my GoPro works with the composite cable.
