Phantom 2 FPV - GoPro with 2nd FPV camera?

Just bought a new P2 with gimbal for GP3 - looking for FPV setup - plan on getting iOSD as well ; I'm curious as to the consensus on whether or not a 2nd FPV camera with a video switch is a good idea or not ? is the GP3 more than sufficient for FPV ? was hoping there was a solution to start/stop video on the GP3 possibly ?

I found this but, given I'm a newbie I'm not sure I need to go this route quite yet... thoughts ?

Looks like an interesting solution if it works as advertised. I wonder where do you connect to control. Seems like you would need an additional channel available in the receiver. I don't think the P2 has one, but I may be wrong.
