Just got the phantom 2 with fpv and DJI Zenmuse H3-3D Gimbal. Oem stock white controler. Drone fly's perfect. Except every flight or other flight all the sudden it will just go down with no controls. Drone goes down straight no crash or wobble. touches the ground maybe bounces and controls come back and goes back up. Sometimes you get the control back before it hit the ground and you can bring it back up.

any ideas suggestion? the company the we bought it from say they have never heard of this problem. They said to try the advanced calibration on the computer, which we have never done before assuming the company did it when they set everything up.We do the 360 calibration every time with no error lights. We have flown it about 10 times and really want to take it over water but can't unit the problem is fixed. almost every time or every other time it does it once per flight. Still have to try the advanced calibration. Hoping it will work. Could it be some WiFi signal interference?

Does anyone have any suggestion? or experienced the same problem?

Does it always happen near the end of your flight, or just at any random time?

Its pretty random. Usually after 10min maybe 1/2 charge but not when the battery low signal starts flashing...Haven't really paid attention to battery connection.. Last time I flew it I drained the battery all the way and it didn't happen..

If you battery is not nearly empty then you may be experiencing a fault with the smart battery system, which is one of the worst feature in the P2 series as it locks you down to a sole sourced consumable part. A few of us have even gone so far to replace the P2 flight controller with a real Naza V2 that doesn't have this (and many other) restrictions.

Consider getting your battery replaced and send a complaint to your dealer and DJI

Not to hijack the thread, but that is a great idea, using the NAZA V2 to disable the "intelligent" battery. What batts are you flying?

We have 3 diffrent batteries so i don't think its them. I am starting to consider the smart battery system. Someone said maybe the auto land system. We just spent alot of money on the drone package would hate to have to spend more on the flight controller we just got it and only flew it 10 times..may send it back to the dealer if we don't get it figured out
thanks for your help
