I flew my phantom today at a event at a High School.
I flew it fast high up and when I brought it fast back down it wouldn't respond to my control.
Half way it started to wobble with the wind and it crash in the middle of the event on concrete floor.
I'm very lucky that no one got hurt. But I'm very shock that it crash and it didn't respond to my control. I was
flying for only 5 mins when it happen. The battery was loaded. This is the 2nd time it happens. When bringing down it wobbles and
Lost contact.
When it crash the 3d Gimbal came apart. Luckily Everything is still working. Does anyone experience similar situation? I have a phantom 2 with 3D gimbal.

VORTEX RING STATE,
Your flying straight down through your own prop
Wash. When decending, always give it a bit of motion
( forward, back, sideways ) or decend very slowly, if going
straight DOWN. Prop guards, are said to increase your
Chances of going into vortex ring state? But I fly them and
Never had a problem. I always give it a little forward momentum
When decending!

Hope this helps,
I would also hook to PC assistant, do an IMU CALIBRATION,
Tx calibration, and compass calibration, before you fly again.

You should always do the steps above after any crash or hard
Landing.

Take care, fly safe!
