My wife and I are in Canada, starting an aerial imaging company, and we're applying for the aviation insurance required by Transport Canada before they'll grant an SFOC. The insurance application form, which is used to certify UAV's in general, is asking "is the UAV certified? and if so, what is the certifying authority and valid certification number, and what is the date the certification was issued and what is the date of certification renewal?"

Anyone have the slightest clue what I should be answering here for a Phantom 2??

Hi,

Currently you need a SFOC to apply for insurance, and to apply for insurance you need a SFOC... I know...

Anyway, they're likely just looking for your SFOC number which can be provided once approved by TC.
