Phantom 1 vs Phantom 2 RC units ?

Can anyone tell me if the difference between the P1 and P2 RC units.

I notice they both operate on 2.4Ghz, but its unclear if its just the P2 that uses FASST etc

Is it possible to use a P1 RC TX with a P2 (I suspect not ????)

Hey Roger,

There are a ton of things different about the Phantom 2 over the Phantom 1.

Most notably between the two units is probably the battery change. 10-15 minutes of runtime with the Phantom 1 and around 25 minutes of runtime with the Phantom 2, in the midst of many other changes.

In the end, what is your goal? For what will you be using this? That should give us something to go off so we can better guide you.

I should have been more specific.

I was referring to whether the Radio Control units were interchangeable. Not the overall Phantom 2 and Phantom 1 as a package.

Do they both operate on 2.4Ghz are they both FASST, are the both the same number of channels etc

Generally can I use a P1 RC TX unit with a P2 (RX)
