Phantom 1 - Tarot T2D - Mini iOSD How to

Hi guys, I have a Phantom 1 and the Tarot T2D gimbal installed. I want to do FPV. What are the steps to get to that?
I will need PMU and CanBUS, right? Should I go for the PMU v2? Or should I do the upgrade board and the hack?
Given that I don't need the board for the CGU, I don't know if it is worth the change.

Hi

The upgrade board requires major surgery and lots of soldering. The PMU V2 has only two connections: power and ground. Then the iOSD Mini plugs right in. Of course, you'll need to solder the video connections on the iOSD.

Just finished adding PMU, iOSD Mini, ImmersionRC 600mW Tx, ImmersionRC Uno Rx and HobbyWireless.com display to my P1.1.1. Works great!

To add just a Tarot gimbal you don't need a GCU or even PMU. However if you want to add an iOSD mini you will need the PMU or upgrade board to get the canbus connection that will require.
