Hi All,

We have a Phantom 1 which has a Zen Muse 2D gimbal and are looking at our first FPV setup.

Hobbyking's Turnigy HD camera looks great value and great reviews so we'd probably use that unless we can be advised against but we need advice as to what FPV transmitter, cables and monitor (which we'd like to attach to the DJI's transmitter) we should go for.

Any advice really appreciated.

Thanks
Daz

Here’s the RF setup I use - http://www.amazon.com/Boscam-TS351-RC805-Transmitter-Receiver/dp/B00GGC60N2/ref=pd_sim_21_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=1HQJ15Q2TN2QVDKKC09H&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160,160_
To improve performance I added some of those clover leaf shaped antenna’s. Don’t have a link handy around $10 shipped but just gotta watch that you choose the right gender connectors.

I’m not much help with a true FPV camera as I mostly do photography and framing shots with GoPro Hero2 output.

As far as monitoring from the receiver I use either one of those cheap automotive seatback monitors:

Or, if it’s too bright outside or I just wanna experience more immersion these cheap Quanum foam goggles have been surprisingly satisfying.

Is this a great FPV? Oh hell no! But for hobby purpose it works surprisingly well and it’s very affordable.

Plus it provides a point of reference before spending significant coin on the “Fat Shark” and/or similar offerings.
