'MC' refers to the 'Main Controller' of the NAZA flight controller in your Phantom.

I'm not familiar of how hot it can get and whether it has any cooling assitance (fans\heatsinks) which can be looked into in case it overheats.

Was the weather\temperature especially hot when you saw this error?

I get the same message even when the P2 hasn't been flying. I think it's a software error of some type. If you exit out and restart the calibration it goes through just fine.

No Leo, it was not hot at all, it was only on for a few minutes in a cold room with the windows open.
I don't know why it is such a problem.

I've read two different suggestions:
Forge ahead - it's a software glitch or
Turn off the Phantom, turn off the assistant, wait 10 minutes, fire up the software, power up the Phantom and head straight to the advanced calibration - it's a software glitch
