Just looking around at the places that sell Phantom parts, I have discovered something that makes me think "what am I going to do if I need parts." So many places that sell stuff list "out of stock." So you need an ESC and a motor. Must have looked at 10 places and that is what most will state. Makes one think ordering these common parts and waiting for them to arrive and just stocking them is what you should do.
Why so much out of stock?

Generally this kind of thing happens when the demand for the whole device is high (which I think is the case with the Phantom).

Once their main manufacturing demand goes down - they'll focus more on parts. It sucks... but it's pretty typical.

Also depends on where each dealer is in the distribution food chain. If you stay with the top-tier places it's usually easy to find most any part...the highest-demand ones as possible exceptions of course.

Check these 3 places out first the next time you need a DJI part, they usually have the most extensive available parts lists and/or are good about stock:

I will keep those in mind.
