I am about to do a paint spray (undercoat + black/yellow) of my P2 V2.

This may seem like an odd question, but is there any reason I should mask off my compass (integral to the leg) and keep it without any paint on it. I am pretty sure all the paints are non-metallic ?

Has anyone painted a P2 V2 compass and got away with it ? :)

    Thanks.

I am not sure paint would cause an issue... but with something as important as the compass - I would avoid altering it in any way, so I would mask it off and paint around it.

do not use any type of paint that could contain metal. Metal can screw up the compass.
