I have had my P4P about a week and have noticed that when in hover it drifts and does not maintain position as solid as it should. My P2 had better hold as does my Yuneec TH. I have calibrated the IMU, compass and controller. Any ideas on why this is the case.

With the Naza controller that was indicative of a compass issue. When you calibrated the compass were you outside and was there any metal close? Like on concrete with rebar?

And on the IMU calibration was the surface perfectly level?

And you are in P mode, right?

First thing to consider is where are you hovering?
Is the drifting due to VPS problems with a ground pattern that confuses the VPS?
Does it still drift when higher than VPS range or with VPS disabled?
Here are some of the situations that cause problems fr the VPS system.

If you switch into Atti mode then you have full control of the aircraft, GPS and position control is switched off.
