P4P gimbal broke / images / advice

P4P+ newbie, BeginMode;
typical nature boardwalk at beach,
made mistake of taking off from wood railing
about 2 inches narrower than legs, instead of
going up 4 feet, it tipped over & fell about 3+ feet
to boardwalk exactly upside down, spring in propellers
probably prevented further damage to body; camera
lens cover undamaged, drone still flies properly...
sadly, am on road trip intending to use daily for aerial photos;

Questions:
a. is this a broken gimbal or more than that?
b. have no advance protection, what is likely DJI cost?
c. am now in Brunswick GA, see that Best Buy reps DJI,
do they repair this damage?
d. if yes, repair price similar to DJI in CA?
e. if not, is there DJI authorized repair in Savannah GA
or Charleston SC? repair costs similar to CA?
f. if there is GA or SC or Eastern NC or Norfolk-Richmond VA
repair, is this a one-day or overnight repair?

Sorry for your loss. Hopefully you will learn from it. I believe that we all crash, eventually.

Likely you will have to replace the entire camera / gimbal assembly.
b. have no advance protection, what is likely DJI cost?
You are looking at $400+ for the part. Probably $60-$120 Labor
I could only find P4 standard camera listed for $379. [ Buy Phantom 4 - Gimbal Camera | DJI Store ]

Best buy does not repair drones.

NA

No idea. All I could find was Expert Drones in Rochester NY and Drone Nerds in Florida.
f. if there is GA or SC or Eastern NC or Norfolk-Richmond VA
repair, is this a one-day or overnight repair?
The quickest solution would be to buy another at Best Buy then send in the broken one to DJI later. You can sell it on eBay once it is fixed later.

Needed to repair,yaw arm, flex cable, both available on eBay for $30 each.
Buy complete camera for $699 and sell damaged on eBay.
Contact DJI for quote.

Search google for drone repair shops

Should you look to repair yourself, check YouTube for help.
