As the title says. That would be a cool DIY. The gimbal might be kind of impossible to mount but rest should fit. Why? Just cause. A stronger shell of the p4 would be one good reason.

You may go for a better she'll but it will be useless if gimbal doesn't work properly. Also I don't have problems with P3 shell.
I too didn't have a problem with the shell until this weekend when my P3A returned from a flight with a nice crack in the top shell at one of the motors. 110 flights in 4 months but now on its way back to DJI.
