P4 owners update - Has the famous shell cracking finally been solved by DJI?

I read that the P4 Shell is made of a platinum material which if it's true I would think would reduce stress cracks anyway. Are the shells made of a platinum on the P4?

I think you may have found some slightly dodgy info there, the P4 has a magnesium alloy frame inside a plastic shell. There are many types of magnesium alloys available, mostly developed for strength and lightness, exactly what DJI needed for the P4 to reduce the frame flex that dogged the P3.
