P3S P3/4K Downgradable ALL the WAY back Confirmed Working!!! UPDATE "Sensor error" FIXED!!

The Debug Procedures ARE still unknown exactly...
I describe not to use Debug until you have ran the downgrade F/W already... meaning debug 1.8.1 then downgrade to 1.7.9 then debug 1.7.9 then downgrade 1.6.8... So on.. I see that some have used the debug to downgrade?? meaning 1.8.1 downgraded with debugging to 1.7.9??? I do not Know the outcome of this????? I see it fail!!! brick!!
I see it work?? We do not know it's true intent!!!!! I now As much as The next.. about Debug?? How it was found... Who found it.. I read everything I could before I made this post. And Still I do not know it all I am Doing my best top build a profile of the P3S and Debug... It should apply to p3p also?? I need more info!!! )
Who... How ... everyone is using it??
Please everyone that has done it..
Tell us EXACTLY the process??
When you used Debug how it was used on what F/W at what time (during downgrade or after)

Pretty sure the people who want to take apart a phantom already have the ability to unscrew a few screws them seem to struggle with the tabs.

I tried to go back to 1.5.7 and was successful to getting back to that but when I went into the DJI Go app on my iphone I had compass calibration error, imu calibration error, gimbal gyro error and a barometer error. None would clear from recalibrating the A/C. The only fix was to go back to 1.8.10. Anyone else have this issue?

Has anyone fixed this issue?

Nobody have this issue. Im back to 1.4.6 from 1.8.1 p3s. No any problems.

No way lol. Man I've tried downgrading numerous times. No matter what I run into that Barometer issue. What steps are you using? Maybe I need another file. Im using the download bin files from phantom magic google drive

Maybe ??? Just maybe... You could try this..
Downgrade to 1.7.9 debug it... update 1.7.94 see if the issue goes away? There are other beta and X.X.XX firmware that fix the issue on normal update..

I tried downgrading the FW on the AC and the DJI Go App. Still barometer errors etc. The only way I can get my bird to work right with no errors is go to the latest 1.8. firmware.

It was simple??
Assuming you're still at 1.8..
Downgrade to 1.7.9.. Get the error?? ...Restart Still Sensor error...
Rerun F/w 1.7.9 with debug...Cal the Imu... (yes again) still got the error..
Update with 1.7.94 No more error?? Recal Imu
This is the setups I just took to fix it for a member in my group...
So I am not Sure if any IMU cals were.... anything more than a waste of time..

Cool, thanks a lot for the help. I'm going to try and get it back to 1.5.7. But I get out now, only debug the same firmware file. The next + file is 1.5.75, thats whats going to fix the barometer error once on 1.5.7...

If you have v1.08.10 with a +
Then start here
v1.08.10 -> v1.08.10 + Debug
v1.08.10 -> v1.07.9
v1.07.9 -> v1.07.9 + Debug
(v1.07.9 -> v1.7.94 If you get "Sensor Error" if not skip this step...) I am waiting for clear info on the next step from here for further downgrade..
v1.05.7 -> v1.05.7 + Debug
v1.05.7 -> V1.5.75 If you get "Sensor Error" if not skip this step...) I am waiting for clear info on the next step from here for further downgrade..

I had to debug 1.7.90 then a regular 1.7.9+. Now Im going to go to 1.6.8

Did you debug 1.7.94? or run 1.7.9 then run 1.7.9 with debug?
Did the errors come back? with 1.7.9 or 1.6.8?
Did you make it to 1.5.7 with no errors?
1.5.75 ?? did you use it?

@NATEHAWK This was Brandon Z's fix I just helped him minutes ago
1. Connect Aircraft (thru USB cable) 2. Format SD 3. Copy bin 1.7.9 into SD main file, eject SD, restart Aircraft/RC, wait for upgrade to finish 4. Reconnect Aircraft, FORMAT SD 5. Copy bin 1.7.9 AND Debug(P3C_FW_DEBUG) into SD main file, eject SD, restart Aircraft/RC, wait for upgrade to finish. 6. Reconnect Aircraft, FORMAT SD 7. Copy bin 1.7.94 into SD main file, eject SD, restart Aircraft/RC, wait for upgrade to finish 8. Reconnect Aircraft and DELETE bin 1.7.94 Done! ( Don't have to format this time) HOPE THIS HELPS! note: Downgrade with debug takes much longer. May go thru several cycles (0-100%) don't panic....lol
