I finally had it in me to try a long distance range test using a windsurfer on my stock antenna. I was notified that I hit maximum distance. I thought I would be able to go further. Should the enable max distance be off in the djigo app?

Do you live in Europe? The CE limits the max range to 500m.

I'm located in the US. Thank you. I will disable the max distance. Altitude wouldn't have made any difference with the max distance enabled. It limited me to 500 meters.

Just to confirm, when the slider is "on" and the green portion is showing it limits the max distance, correct?

Yes -- you'll be limited to the max distance you set in DJI GO. When that setting is disabled, you can fly until the remote controller signal disconnects.
