P3S Distance

Hi,
I am wondering of there's any way to bypass the P3S range limit of 500m,
I have a windsurfer and can easily fly to the maximum 500m distance,
Then is stops and says maximum distance reached,
Is there anyway to avoid this, so that I can fly further away ?
Or is it a case of upgrading to the advanced or pro,

In heavy residential area I was getting 2500ft.

Not sure if it's different for fcc models. But you can turn off maximum distance

Turn off distance limit...

Just turn off the Max Distance switch unless you are in CE. If you are CE then you can't go past 500m.

I'm in uk so maybe won't go past 500

Altitude is limited to 500 m but not distance.

I'm in the UK and I've upgraded to the dbs ITelite, my top distance is about 9000ft

Blimey that is a crazy distance. Can you post a link to where you got your mod from please ?

Do you guys still get any video feed flying that far or using waypoint? I lose video feed after about 250m using aluminium foil extender.

I found windsurfers no help in my situation especially as im flying standard it partially covers the internal 2.4ghz video antennas, this is why i went to dbs mod which is from Horizon FPV Antennas this made a massive difference.
In that 9000' flight i lost video connection but it rth fine.

I saw that dbs mod in youtube P3P flew 5.7miles is awesome and still get full signal video feed... Only limited by the battery.
