I've been asked to fly indoors at a local gym . Any tips? I'm still on 1.1.9 and have had it turned off since I started flying. Do I keep GPS mode on or switch it to ATTI with VPS enabled? Thanks!

I do indoors at my shop and just leave GPS on. Usually I just fly from outside right through the bay door into the shop area and keep floating around. VPS works will only at about 9ft so keep that in mind that if you go higher you may see some drifting and unsteady positions. The biggest thing I notice is that from time to time the altitude will bounce around, it'll try and hold place but will sometimes float up or down and require me to correct it. Had similar experience in both 1.1.9 and the latest. Above all, get some prop guards if you don't have any just incase it gets too close to someone in the gym. Better to have them and not need them than to not have them and regret it.
