Is anyone willing (or have the time) to sift through ONLY the P3A/P3P thread/posts since its release and gather ALL self reported crash statistics?

By answering some basic questions and little detective work, we could put together some beneficial data for the community as a whole. And, probably put some perspective on things.

1.) Brief description of failure. Note date reported (date of post)(Example: "Lost control mid flight.")

2.) Firmware # at time of failure.

3.) Confirmed cause of failure (by either DJI or forum member who analyzed flight data.)

4.) Split confirmed causes into 2 categories A.) Pilot Error. B.) Software/Hardware. Note specifics.

Sounds like a lot of work! :)

#3 and #4 will require a judge and jury of Phantom Pilots to decide because the specific cause of the crash is often suspected but not confirmed. Also pilot error versus software/hardware could be a bit hard; crashing into a tree would in most cases be pilot error but what about when someone takes off with a half-charged battery and the drone drops out of the sky? Some will say he should have known better so its pilot error, others will say that's a software/hardware failure.

What does a job like this pay? :)
