Finished with all upgrades. Many thanks to everybody who posted here.
What I've learned. Most likely problem was that I should have gone immediately to the latest version for the aircraft. Once aircraft upgraded to the latest firmware and after checking the text file on the SD card I reinstall the SD card with the upgrade files and reboot the aircraft so also the battery to be upgraded. I did this to all my batteries.
My RC was upgraded via the app. That was very easy and completed within 5 mins.
After all upgrades completed I am now having firmware version showing correctly in my iPad mini. Before I was getting firmware unknown.
Tomorrow will be the maiden flight.
