P3A - Apple USB cable

I'm picking up a new P3A on Tuesday and read somewhere that the usb cable provided will not plug into my iPad Air 2 or iPhone 6, if this is so, what cable should I get? I mean does it have a specific name or simply Apple to mini usb?

Apple standard USB to iPhone cable will work. If you need shorter cable later on, there are many sources available on Amazon.

It is called a 'lightning' cable.

TerenceM, the Lightning cables you already own will work, but they are going to have a lot of slack. I use this Cambond Lightning cable on all of my Phantoms. It's just the right size and made very well.

Apple do a 0.5m lead, I had one kicking about and it's perfect length

Try a 0.3m cable. It's the sweet spot
