The RC is 100% okay. This issue is with my 2nd P3. I bought a open box P3 with no camera/gimbal and a parts P3 for a used camera/gimbal. All went well on this build. Linked RC&P3, updated firmware. This bird works great except the s1 mode switch doesn't work. Interested to see if IMU/gimbal calibrations etc, etc remedies my issue. I purposely don't upgrade/calibrate to see the effect on the DJI setup to learn about problems flying. Interesting that that IMU and compass numbers look good! Gimbal level also. Going to do IMU calibrations first then test S1 switch, etc, etc. Linked my RC back to the original bird all okay S1 mode switch works again. Which calibration will fix the issue? Just posting for educational fun. Heck now I have a spare bird if the other goes south on me. The red message on my RC is low battery.
