P3 Cradle Holder Question

Just received a new P3 and have been trying to figure the best way to use the mobile device holder. I currently use the Samsung S5 with DJI App, however the micro USB plug wont fit through the bottom of the cradle holder when plugged into the device.

Also - there doesn't appear to be a way to Mount the phone Horizontally, only Vertically and the App doesn't work that way.

Any thoughts on this?

There are 2 little plastic "wings" that expand to hold a small device horizontally.

Saw those. They are too small, and not expandable.

They actually pop up and you place your phone between the tabs and the top of the tablet holder (which is expandable, as you know)

It's not mine. I just googled for an image I could post as an example of a phone in the holder

It's the dji hood... I like it works well...
