P3 connects to remote but not to phone (urgent help please)

Hi everyone,

I'm on a photo/video/drone assignment in Norway and my Phantom 3 has stopped working. The drone turns on and connects with the remote - I can fire up the props and the gimbal works etc, but the iPhone/DJI app remains disconnected no matter I do. I've tried different cables and that doesn't seem to be the problem.

Any suggestions what I can do here?

Try uninstall and reinstall

After rebooting phone, reinstalling DJI Go (if possible), try cleaning, carefully, the lightning connector on the phone by blowing into it, checking for any debris/fluff etc.
Gently wiggle the radio end of the cable

Is that port replaceable? And can we do it ourselves- or is that not practical/possible?

Yes, if that is truly the problem. There is a PC board under that hump on the back of the remote where your USB cable plugs in. A few screws and a few small ribbon cables and it's out. Simple five minute remove and replace.
Have you tried another phone or tablet first?
