P3 Advanced update problem

Friend of mine has P3 advanced.

Went to update the firmware to latest yesterday.

It failed.

I went round today to have a look.

With no memory card in the drone, just beeps (no status marker lights, the camera LED flashes red / green).
The app will connect to the drone and under Ios shows status as normal BUT motors will not activate.
Under Android status shows camera needs updating.

Put in fresh SD card with firmware on.

The camera lights starts off green and then goes red/ green alternate flashing.
The status marker lights do NOT flash.

The esc's beep a constant Beep Beep, left it 15 mins, still the same beeping.
Tried this several times, same each time.

Any ideas please. ?

I know but NO status LEDS on power up and no activation of motors

HI looking at the text file you got of the SD card the last firmware upgrade that was a success was 1.09.0060. if you look at the bottom the latest upgrade to firmware states its upgrading... it does not say anything about it finishing the install. Try it again and be patient. It took a good 20 minuets to upgrade mine. did you get the 3 beeps to confirm it had finished One long beep 2 short beeps which them repeats. also the little light on the gimble will go solid green when completed. Make sure your battery is fully charged as it could take 20 - 30 mins to do the update.

This is the last line you posted showing it was still upgrading. Hope that helps

what is different this time is that the main body LED's are not flashing at all.
Also the Beeps are not usual sequence.

I asked my friend to leave it on for much longer whilst update is going.
He is trying this now.

when mine updated 2 days ago it flashed and beeped in ways ive never seen before even the battery lights flashed differently. Dont put to much on the lights flashing or sounds just wait for the 3 beeps and solid green light on the gimble to show its finished.

Mine played the startup tune several times and wiggled the camera around a few times, it took over 20 minutes to complete

ok thanks.

Its strange as mine did the usual sequence and took 15 mins.
My friend left his and went out for an hour.
Came back and now is ok.
Looks like update took eventually.
