P2V, Waypoints, Camera control

A question about waypoints and camera control.
Has anyone that has done the camera tilt mod with a new potentiometer also done a waypoint flight? If you did, was there still camera tilt control as the quad was flying along?

but...
Step 4 on p44 says you can operate the tilt.

I haven't tried it though.

I gave up on Ground Station - at the corners, the footage is not smooth.
Though it's supposed to be good for taking pictures for Pix4D (which I must try doing at some point).
