P2V+ Photo and Video corrupt

I have decided that my lack of FPV is due to a dead internal wifi module. But the camera controls have been working. Now, 2 of 3 flights, my photo and video files will not open.

Flew with no FPV, and took pics and video: Files would not open.

Formatted the 2g card. Quick and full format. Flew again and pics and video were fine.

Put card back in the next day and flew. Neither pics nor video will open.

Before I order my new wifi module, I'm wondering if I have more issues with the camera acting like this. Can the wifi module cause this too? Or is my camera dying? If the camera is going too, I may as well go to Sam's and get a P3S for $470.

The revised P2V+ wifi module does not look like they have been improved physically in any way. They used the same cooling cream and punched a few holes to keep it cool. The wifi tech is quite old, very cumbersome to connect and flaky at most times with poor range if you are in suburbia.
I would get the P3S or better a P3A if you got the extra dosh.
