How do I do that? Do I need to rebind the extender to the phantom, is that what you mean? If the extender is off, shouldn't I still be able to connect the phone straight to the phantom? How do I do this binding, or pairing?

Hit the reset button on the range extender

In your App:
Go to Settings
Under Range Extender go to Bindings

BTW, when the instruction says turn the camera on, that is done by turning the phantom on and making sure the camera is set to wifi on. You should read the manual prior to getting so frustrated. We have all had to learn how these things work, but it's much easier to ask intelligent questions if you read the instructions first.
