    Hi,

Just wondering how to tell what the out of the box firmware revision is and on what components? Is there a simple way to find out?

    cheers

Having only had mine out of the box a month or so, when I plugged it in it didn't require any updates, all software was current and up to date. It's easy to do, download from the dji page for the phantom vision. Download the driver. Then the vision assistant software and the rc assistant software. Run install the driver from the zip file then the assistant . Plug in your phantom and power up. Turn on your tx too, take off the props when you do this. Go to the last tab on right and all updates on the right should be the same numbers as the latest software. Whilst your doing this I found updating your gimble appear enters is worth doing. To max 650 and min -950 on the advanced tab, makes the camera go a little higher as the preset is to low.

There's loads of YouTube tutorials , hope this saves you a bit of searching around.
