Had p2v for 3weeks now for my video work, new to flying, happy with camera, but drone has issues, can anyone tell my me why altimeter shows up to 30 ft before it has taken off .I've managed to get round some other issues myself. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a barometric altimeter and the "zero" reading does seem to vary for some people. If the aircraft doesn't actually maintain a fairly solid altitude hold in the hover (+/- a foot or so) then it may be defective and you should contact your dealer. Otherwise, just subtract 30ft to get your height! You might find that figure varies as atmospheric pressure varies. As far as I'm aware there's no way to reset it, but as I say if it does the job in the air of keeping things solid then it's working fine.

Thank you pull up, p2v is rock steady on hover with great video at 800 ft, I,m new to this and a pensioner so I'm not sure if you can read this or really what I,m doing but great site, once again many thanks
