It was unusual because not a darn thing happened that shouldn't have. Took it out of the box a couple of hours ago, put on the props, charged the battery and figured out how to mount the Zenmuse. Stuck some good batteries in the TX. Mounted the GoPro (freakin' release from the Zenmuse is going to make me crazy). Upgraded the firmware, downloaded the P2 assistant and logged in and set the bottom switch to failsafe, turned on the normal stuff. Dorked around with the GoPro angle to make sure I understood it. Took it outside, calibrated the compass, got some GPS lock ons, wound it up and took it up to 100 feet (it was dark outside and I was threading through trees so it was a short flight).
I can definitely see the difference (very big) between the GoPro on the stock Phantom 1.1.1 and this one. Dead steady. Nice.
