I really liked the inspire1 tab mount so i did a mod to my P2+ TX and put it on it, way better then the other options. I used a 1/4-20 nutsert for the mount to screw in, I think it turned out good..

I would like to do the same to use an 8.9" kindle fire unit and my P2v+ TX. Could you elaborate a little on the nutsert and what and how you drilled the case. I am afraid my technical skills are not nearly as good as yours and would hate to destroy the case. Also what is the mount called so i can look it up on Ebay. Thank You

Thank You. How and what did you use to drill the case?
Just drill a hole that is a little smaler than the screw. I did find the position by holding the bracket sideways...left and right. Then make a pencil mark at both positions, and draw a line..... Then hold it in the center.... :) I did only use a little bit force and screwed it into the controller.... just remember that the wires inside goes straigh under it ...;-)

LOL.. just start with with a pilot hole first,"Small Drill" then work your way up to the right size.
Thanks I may end up there anyway if this doesn't work. I found this here on the site. If it does not work, I am out 40 bucks and will be forced to drill holes. Here is the mount I found:
Satechi® Dashboard Mount Universal Tablet Car Mount Holder (for 8.9" - 11" Tablets) iPad, Nexus 10, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9", Samsung Galaxy Tab 10", S

What Tx do you have, The new one with the tilt wheel on the side or the old one ?

Well i was going to offer to help, I have a old Tx shell that i could drill for you and swap the covers, but you need the new Tx,
