Uhh... no they aren't, are they?? I thought the P2 uses the old style kitkat li-po battery, and the P2V uses the newer "intelligent" batteries. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the battery compartments completely different shapes?? That would make the shell different, yes?

The P2 and P2V are the same exact quads...the V just indicates it has the FC200 camera and one axis gimbal.
