Why is it the landing legs on the P2 are quite short? When the Zenmuse gimbal and Gopro are fitted and your ready for take of. If you have slightly wet /damp grass the camera setup basically sits in the damp. A few inches more would of done the trick but any suggestions on making them longer?

There are many options out there for solving this issue. This one probably will not work for the P2 though, as the gear has little feet:

"Why" is because the original phantom never anticipated having a gimbal, it had a hard-mounted gopro cage, which fit the existing legs quite well. DJI then made the zenmuse fit (barely) and kept the same height for the new phantoms. Yes, it's a bit short 
It's worse for those of us with 3p gimbals, all of which drop lower than the zenmuse.
