so this will work for the P2V correct??? Also about how much distance will it add aprox? IM only getting about 500 ft range with my FPV

that is correct.
Do you have P2V (not +)?
the difference between the RE (range extender) that ships with P2V (which is RE500) and P2V+ (RE700) is that RE500 only has one antenna
and RE700 has two inside and i believe that output gain is higher on RE700 than RE500.
if you want long distance then i could install a stage 2 on the RE700 and mod the controller and that way you'd be looking
at getting about 6000ft distances.
