Sunset Sound System has a series of parties that are held once a month during the summer. I attended the big opener with the drone of course. Here's a short video I put together of the day. Many of the shots are over exposed, because of the way it was setup there was no safe way for me to take off out away from the sun. I didn't want to hover over people unless I am really **** close to it.

Good video. You should rethink flying over large groups of people though. A handful of people where the odds are generally that if something happened, it would miss them or you could warn them verbally is fine. But with a packed crowd, you should really consider being off to the side as they're not aware of it, have no way to get out of the way and/or the music will make it impossible to warn them.

It's not worth the risk. Especially considering the news is so full of hyperbole over people being mamed by drones falling on their head.

Nice job on the video. I think they set up the balloons as a Drone Defense System! I like to watch different people's reaction to the approach of the copter. Some break out the phone cams, one woman looks like it scared her and started running.

Who cares if it hits someone, I would worried about someone throwing rocks, bottles or simply trying to take it down. People are drunk and unpredictable in large groups.

Wind was ok, some small guests nothing it couldn't handle. If it was a few MPH over I wouldn't have flown it. The times I went above the tree lines the wind was much lower.

I pay very close attention when flying over larger crowds. There was only a few handfuls of fly overs and that was after I had flown for a few minutes prior. I also didn't do it at points when there was much wind.
