Out of new box Phantom 2 w/H3-3D Flight issues

Hi ,

Any ideas?

This is my second DJI. Pretty good a flying, BUT with this NEW second drone I bought.... I push up on left joy stick after start up, and it goes FORWARD and NOT UP??!! Scratched it up along with banged up 1st set of blades..

Ideas??

Most likely RC in mode 1. Instead of mode 2.

Download RC Assistant and Win drivers. Connect remote and make sure mode 2 is selected. Calibrate sticks and toggles.

Once it is calibrated. Leave RC on but close out software. Download Phantom Assistant and connect Phantom with props off. Turn on P2 and run software. Calibrate Phantom with current RC figures. If you desire also do IMU calibration with Phantom on level surface.(recommended since you had a minor crash)

Shut off Phantom and then software and RC.

Do field compass calibrations.

Lots of good you tube videos if your unsure on procedure.

Thanks so much DAMON ! worked like a charm! **** thing must have been sitting on the shelf as well. Had to do a couple firmware upgrades as well.
