Since many of us use a smartphone when flying, this Kickstarter project for a cellphone "jumper cable" may be of interest. Ankar battery packs are a great investment. Dual output ones will keep your WiFi extender and phone/tablet powered for hours.

I gotta agree with RichW --- that last thing we need is yet another battery to carry out into the field.

Many of the larger battery packs now offer multiple outputs to power several devices at once. I got a 10,000 mAh pack that powers both my Sunhans 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz amps, P2V+ WiFi extender, and my Samsung G3 at the same time. I could fly for several hours with this pack. Nothing can beat that type of simplicity.
